Bolton Vaccination Bus location w/c May 10, 2021

The Bolton Covid-19 Vaccination Bus is supporting the response to increased infection rates in Bolton.

It's latest location is:

  • Monday, May 10 to Friday, May 14 – Essa Academy, Lever Edge Lane, Bolton BL3 3HH. 10am to 4pm each day.

The bus will be parked on the Essa Academy car park. Please note pedestrian access to the site is via Morris Green Lane or Lever Edge Lane.

There is no vehicular access. However, there is a drop-off zone via Morris Green Lane for anyone with mobility issues.

People getting their vaccination are politely asked to park considerately as this is a residential area. They are also asked to try and avoid the end of the school day between 2.45pm and 3.30pm, as traffic will be busy.

Vaccinations at this site are for anyone who lives or works in the BL3 area of Bolton and who meets current criteria.

For this location only, the bus is using the Pfizer vaccine. More locations will be announced soon.

The Vaccination Bus is for first doses only and no appointment is needed. Anyone waiting for their second dose will be contacted when the time is right.

The Covid-19 vaccination programme is being led nationally by NHS England, and NHS Bolton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is managing arrangements at a local level.
